A broken bracket is not an emergency. There are a couple of steps that you can take to reduce further problems.
A broken bracket may mildly extend your treatment time if left for extended periods of time.
Invisalign is temporarily unable to deliver trays and bond attachments to patients. We are working on getting our Invisalign patients back on track. In the meantime, clean your aligners gently and reduce wear to night time only so that you aligners last longer. Please do not lose your retainer or aligners.
Cracked or worn aligners are not a dental emergency. Try to wear your aligners for as long as possible, even if they are cracked. We are working to get all Invisalign patients back on track.
This is not a dental emergency. Continue to wear them as directed or until you run out. We are unable to provide you with elastics at this time as most of our staff is working remotely.
Great news, it has minimal negative effects! If you are wearing your elastics (20+ hours day/everyday), then missing a few weeks will be ok. When we return, we will reassess you and continue treatment progress!
A poking wire is not an emergency. You can actually cut the wire yourself. Please contact 780-800-0402 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be able to assist you.
If you have any questions about your treatment, you can call, 780-800-0402 or e-mail questions with photos to email@example.com anytime between 9am-5pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am-1pm on Fridays.
